I created the site Nerdcessities a few years ago as a blog where I could post about things that nerds (and geeks) want and love. I used WordPress on a local server and posted to it for several months... until it, along with the rest of my server, was seriously hacked. As a result, I had to clean out every directory and couldn't risk reviving any of my sites from the archives without resurrecting the worm.

So, here's the icon I created for Nerdecessities featuring iconic black-framed nerd glasses, a pixel for one pupil and a green heart as the other, signifying an envious love for all things nerd.
